The computer in my daughter's room is about 60 feet away from our broadcast point and there were several walls in the way. She could never get more than one bar(poor) reception and her connection often dropped totally. I had purchased a USB adapter that was supposed to have a "power boost" that increased the signal strength, but if it helped at all it wasn't enough to notice.
I received this new adapter just a few days after ordering. It included a mini-CD and instructions on how to set up and access the driver for the adapter. The print on the instructions was very small and it didn't explain that you need to look at the numbers on the CD sleeve to know which driver to choose when the menu came up. These are the only complaints that I have! The driver loaded swiftly, I attached the antenna to the adapter(it simply screws on), plugged it into my USB port, and was online in no time. The connection is now full strength!
I am very pleased with this inexpensive and easy solution to a serious problem (after all, I didn't want her hogging MY computer).

I bought this on a whim to see if it really delivered as the previous reviews stated and I must say, that it does!!!

Received this yesterday and it was so easy to setup it was ridiculous. Windows 7 found it and installed the driver right away. Much better performance than I expected. Nice adapter...

i bought this to try and connect my bluray player i bought it new i recived it and didnt even turn on its cheap an i guess you get what you pay for a POS
