It beats anything else I have read when it comes to beating anxiety. If your therapist is not practicing what is recommended in this book you should find a new one. Period.

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
As a therapist, I look for books to help people understand emotional dysregulation. Anxiety is expecially difficult to understand but this book walks a lay person through the anatomy of the brain structures in a way that is easily understood and usable. For anyone with an anxiety disorder, fears, I would highly recommend reading this and getting help with the application from a therapist versed in appropriate ways to help reduce and manage symptoms.
