This item was as nice as I had hoped and better than I expected. I have a utility trailer and this net is perfect for loads that are difficult to tie in place with twine or straps. I sometimes carry a dozen trash cans to the dumpster and without the net, I sometimes lose can lids and garbage on the way. This is my third large net in 4 years and it is the heaviest. If there is a problem or flaw it would be with the hook design. This is a nightmare to unhook all the hooks from the net itself and spread out over the load. So from past experience with different nets, I had hooks welded to my trailer every 1.5 feet around it. I just remover all the plastic hooks, spread like a blanket on the trailer and start hooking. Much easier.

I have to admit that I liked this net at first. I purchased mine in February of 2009 for my 8' bed truck, which it fit pretty well. It is wide and long enough to stretch over a lot of cargo and the hooks could be maneuvered to inner rows for smaller loads. I liked that the size of the gaps are consistent unlike some cargo nets that are narrower in the center but have large gaps at the corners.

However, over the course of a year, the plastic hooks regularly broke, one by one. It was very frustrating. The final straw, however, was when the net pretty much disintegrated. It was just over a year old. I like it when things last. This didn't.

I think its too stretchy. Getting it tight enough to hold anything makes the openings too big. Its also a major pain to deal with with all the hooks attached. My advice is take off all the hooks before you try putting it on or you'll have nothing but a tangled mess.

At first I was bummed because mine came in a tangled mess. Then I realized how easily the hooks could be removed and found out that the net is designed to be used this way. Leave the hooks off, then when you need it.. just throw the net over the load and clip on the hooks where you need them. A couple of the ends needed to be touched up with a lighter because it seemed like they might begin to fray.. but no biggie. I have an extended cab Chevy with a 6ft bed and it can easily hold down a load 6'T/6'L/4'W. It is surprisingly strong, and the netting is smaller than I anticipated (thats a good thing). At first I was worried that it wouldn't work with small items because they would easily go through the netting holes. It seems to handle the sun and rain well, but I'm sure that it wouldn't last forever if you left it to the elements in the back of a truck for months at a time. Either way, it serves the purpose well and there isn't another one this awesome within the same price range. Get yourself one!

Understand what you are buying. This is not a heavy duty mesh net. This is stretchable black bungee cord. If you are trying to keep large, light items from blowing out of your truck or trailer, this is perfect. If your items are tiny, it may not work (mesh holes will be too large). If your items must be tied down firmly it may not work (just made of black bungee cord). If your items are large and do not need to be tied down firmly, this thing is just right. When you open the package, remove the plastic clips and store them seperately in a zip lock bag. If you leave them on the net, it becomes a tangled mess.

Product is great, but it really is big! I ordered this with the intention of using it to cover loads in my pickup, but I should have gotten a smaller size. Unless you have a HUGE load it will not get tight. Good quality for the price, just beware of its size.

At first this cargo net seemed a perfect for my use. I regularly haul items in my full size bed pickup. I purchased this item to cover and hold down a Tarp that I used to covered my cargo items. I chose this Item, Extra-Large 72" x 96" Cargo Net with 28 Hooks - Stretches to 10' x 14', because if its ability to stretch and cover my cargo.

I used this item only once and several sections broke apart leaving large areas that became exposed and not held down. The net was stretched, that's why I purchased it, but it wasn't taut. It just didn't hold up to my expectations.

Great product, I drove 1,000 miles at 70 mph and not one item shifted during the trip. I placed the net over a plastic tarp which covered the furniture, etc. and everything was in the original place at my destination. Extremely easy to use and remove. A must buy if you are looking for fantastic results.
I have used the cargo net a number of times since - still give it 5 stars. Follow the directions of removing all the hooks each time you use it or it is difficult to untangle; I remove the hooks AFTER each use so it is ready to go the next time I need it. It woks well with any size load since the hooks are removable and can cover even small loads.
