4.0 out of 5 stars Self Inrpisonment and suffering, August 27, 2000

This review is from: Extramuros [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Extramuros is a captivating movie that depicts the imprisonment of women in a social-financial and religious class system. This servitude for religion, purity and society become a compelling story that presents the boundaries of a human being. Strong characters, a well designed plot, Extramuros provides a view of societal limits in a very non ordinary fashion, bringing in more realistic and graphic documentary like scenes. Strong content, and graphic realities come together in this movie to make its audience aware of changes we need in society.
