Midget star?,

Okay since when has the term midget star been used to describe any type of star?
I was reading this book and I couldn't tell if it was a funny book or a scientific book. I think this book is good and the facts are really interesting and its pretty interesting to see all these facts about stars and stuff. Anyway, just thought I'd add that there is no such thing as a binary star that forms with a midget star. I think that they should have used a different word like dwarf or miniature star, would have been better.
