Impressive new books,

A couple of months ago I was agreeably surprised by new books written by Maximillien de Lafayette. Dr. de Lafayette is a well-known scholar, jurist, linguist, and author, whose books I have read with pleasure and interest for over twenty five years, in three languages. I imagine most readers know about his former books, but currently, he has directed his attention to a new subject - the study of UFOs, extraterrestrials, and especially the Anunnaki connection to our religions and history. Dr. de Lafayette's broad knowledge of ancient languages helps his meticulous research, and in addition, his new interest is very timely, since the subject is now taken extremely seriously by Academia and will very likely be soon taught in colleges and universities. However, while the books are certainly scholarly, they are also highly entertaining and suitable for the intelligent lay reader. I am writing this review not about a single book, but about the body of his work, now encompassing, I believe, eighteen well-researched and highly informative books. While I am particularly impressed by his Anunnaki Encyclopedia, I plan to place this review on his other books as well, since I would not wish any thinking person to miss the opportunity to pursue them.

Some "jerks" two or three imbeciles claim that they can't find anything about the author, meaning his biography. How stupid they are! His books have been used by leading American universities since 1984, to name a few, Johns Hopkins University, California State University (Long Beach), even the National University of China and the University of Taipei. There are more than 9,000 websites about his books, life and magnificent work and he appeared on 45,000 websites on the Internet. But De Lafayette does not mingle in public. He is a private person and he is entitled to privacy. He distants himself from others and live far far away from our plastic society and silly gossip. He is not a mystery at all. He does exist and I met him in Austria in 1979. Consider him one of the brightest and most prolific authors of all time. Some have said that his Lobsang Rampa, others claim he is St. Germain, others believe he is an Indian Monk... Fantasy, he is just a brilliant author who knows a lot. He authored 130 books during 35 years. His first book appeared in 1979 in Books in Print and Gale Bowker....long time before any of these stupid three people were old enough to read a book. Lafayette is an "Insider", well connected and knows many secrets about UFO...

Clearly covered with FAKE reviews, DUPLICATED among multiple books,

Gee, something is fishy here. Why is it that multiple books by this author are given IDENTICAL reviews by the same reviewers? How is it that they're all priced exactly the same and carry either 5-star or 1-star reviews? Why do they use so many ANNOYING CAPITALS in their reviews? It's also quite shocking to view all books "written" by this author and discover that they're being churned out 2-3 per MONTH. Per MONTH. No real writer can produce any book in 2 weeks, unless they're all the SAME book repackaged with a new stupid, overly long title. These reviewers are apparently shills for the author. Don't fall for this blatent manipulation of the Amazon review system!!!!!

A Deeply Analytical and Investigative Book,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Extraterrestrials, UFO, Nasa-Cia-Aliens Mind Boggling Theories, Stories And Reports: Anunnaki, Zeta Reticuli, Area 51, Abductees, Whistleblowers, Conspirators. The Real & The Fake (Paperback)
In this book, the author analyses all possible theories as to what UFOs might be. He discusses the credibility of each theory and rates each one numerically (0 to 10.) Likewise, he next discusses all possible theories of the motives and plans of Aliens. In the rest of the book, we learn about the involvement of NASA, the CIA, the military, the government, and the many witnesses of UFOs and Aliens. If you want to know more about the author, go to Times Square Press on the net and learn that music is also his field. He has written quite a few books on jazz, etc. Our mysterious author could be part Anunnaki-Ulema himself(?) His books are unique and utterly fascinating. After starting to read De Lafayette's books about UFOs and aliens I sometimes dream about them at night. The truth could be stranger than fiction!

Fantasy, gullibility, and quick bucks,

Maximillien de Lafayette is a pseudonym. There is no such person, and most of "his" five-star reviews are generated by a common source. Readers may estimate the authoritativeness of M. de Lafayette's works by considering how hard the "author" works at disguising "his" pseudonymous nature. This book is fantasy, aimed at the gullible, in order to make a quick buck. I wish Amazon would police, and crack down on, this kind of "untruth in advertising". Maybe if enough of us bring it to their attention, they will.

If anyone can help me locate a published biographical essay on Jean-Maximillien de la Croix de Lafayette, please respond. I am unable to locate any biographical information such as birthplace, birthdate, education, or highlights of his career in a reputable and authoritative resource. Examples of acceptable resources would be: Who's Who in America or The International Who's Who, Gale's Biography Resource Center, any reputable dictionary of biography. I did find a website claiming to present his biography. However there is nothing to substantiate that such a person exists. I have concluded that perhaps the name may be a pseudonym for collective authors who publish under the name of the Maximillien de Lafayette publishing company. Consequently, how does one estimate the authoritativeness of the works of this particular series of books on ufos, extraterrestrials and ancient history? Are the books well-researched and documented? Are appendices and bibliographic citations included?Thank you for any assistance. Purchasing for a library requires that we look not only at glowing reviews (that look suspiciously like promotional blurbs) but also find solid information on the author and his/her resources and documentation. |
