I have to admit that this book is really good. I have read all the Harry Potter books and this Animorph book rules. It has it all. This book is action packed, it's really funny and at some parts it is scary. This book makes Harry Potter look like a picture book. I just LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEE this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars I thought this book was totaly cool!!!!, March 27, 1999

This book had Marco Going polar, as in bear! I thought this book had a great plot. The animorphs board the blade-ship and get dumped off in the artic with their warmer weather morphs and spandex, to make matters worse, they're being chased by venber, a supposed-to-be extinct race of creatures found on a frozen moon, and let me tell ya, the venber "own the cold, icy climate. Will the animorphs suvuve the freezing, and if so, how long can they hold out against their armed and Extremely dangerous persuers in the Extreme?

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK ROCKS!!!, June 25, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Extreme (Animorphs, No. 25) (Paperback)
In this book, the Yeerks are building a Kandrona in the Arctic that would make every body of water in the world(even swimming pools!) into Yeerk pools. The Animorphs can't let that happen, so they morphs flies and hide under Visser Three's stomach :o). They head north on the Blade ship. Once in the Artic, they morph wolves and are freezing, so they morphs seals and polar bears. They head for the Kandrona site. What will happen next? Read the book to find out!

5.0 out of 5 stars "COOL" book!!, November 3, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Extreme (Animorphs, No. 25) (Paperback)
Marco finds out that a Yeerk Pool is being built so that it can satellite a small Yeerk Pool in anything!!(etc. swimming pools, water slides) So what's the big deal about that?? The fact that it is in a country with a temperature of below freezing, that's all!! Marco has to deal with a new species called Venber, he has to survive in the icy, wild, wild, north, and he adds the touch of humor that makes this book truly COOL!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Set apart from all other Animorphs books., May 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Extreme (Animorphs, No. 25) (Paperback)
Most Animorphs books have absolutely no substance to them, meaning that things just happen without any emotional bases. But in this book, Ms. Applegate, for once, exhibits the emotions of the five characters, so that you can really feel their pain. You feel the characters' emotions as they are cold, tired, and hungry, stranded in the North Pole with nowhere to go. There is really only one battle scene, and it is not really a big deal, but that is good, because the battle sections of books really just take up space, when they could be used for more important things, such as the storyline and plot (of which is greatly developed in this book). Overall: Best Animorphs book out yet!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Animorphs were five ordinary kids., May 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Extreme (Animorphs, No. 25) (Paperback)
There are these gray slugs called Yeerks. They crawl into your brain and control you. One night five kids went to take a shortcut through a construction site. A spacecraft landed and gave them powers that they can change into any animal. One day the kids meet at an old house and they found out where Viseer Three's new secret pasture was. Then a ship came and they morphed into flies. They went into the ship and explored until they were caught morphing. They fought Viseer Three and went out a door and landed in a subzero temperature area. They stayed alive and found the Yeerks base. It is a good book.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO COOL!!!, March 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Extreme (Animorphs, No. 25) (Paperback)
This book is great! It's really funny. I mean,a bunch of kids in Spandex, turning into a gorillas and tigers in the North Pole here and there, running away from an extinct deadly species has got to crack anybody up, know what I mean? There is a lot of funny lines in this book. Rachel and Marco are definatly the funniest. But everyone is still very hilarious- from the killer Visser Three to stuck-as-a-hawk Tobias!
