5.0 out of 5 stars I NEED TO BREATHE!!!!!!!!, October 12, 2004

My air supply was almost cut when i heard this first Brutal Truth album , wow!!!!!, i dont know but im almost sure that vocalist Kevin Sharp lost his voice for a few weeks after recording this album and i think that drummer surelly suffered injuries on his arms or maybe one arm were broken because he played so fast, impossible a band could play with that ammount of adrenaline without end alomst dying with such discharge of energy , just to listen this tracks you end totally tired , so just imagine to play this music , great album , amazing grindcore.

5.0 out of 5 stars A EARLY GRINDCORE CLASSIC., January 26, 2004

I consider this album one of the best death/grind releases of all time. The guitar work is extremely heavy and the drumming is almost unmatched by any other band. The vocals are good and the lyrics are in the same vein of napalm death. This band kicks ass and I would recommend anyone into death/grind to pick this one up because it is a classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mind blowingly brutal and, June 9, 2003
By A Customer
an aware political lyric sheet to go along with it! On my 26th birthday, I went to Vancouver BC to see them open for Cannable Corpse, and *POW* what a shock to the eardrums! Hard-core guitars, fast as lightning drums, brilliant non-corpse eating lyrics make this a MUST for any thinking, intelligent rocker/ette out there. Get it, and only your neighbors will regret it. 'Nuff Said.

5.0 out of 5 stars best brutal truth album, February 22, 2002
By
suckmyassitsmells (Cape Cod Massachusetts) - See all my reviews
This is Brutal Truth's debut, and its their best album. It contains some of their best songs like walking corpse, birth of ignorance, and stench of prophet, and unlike a lot of death metal out there you can get something out of brutal truth's lyrics. They actually make you think and some people could probably relate to them. Brutal Truth is an amazing death/grindcore band and this is definitly their first album you should buy. Buy this if your a fan of extreme metal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Look No Further For the Fastest Rock Music Around, June 29, 2002
By
Max Duncan (Adelaide, South Australia) - See all my reviews
If the reader knows of any band that can surpass the drumming speeds on this album, please inform me (e-mail address below). Admittedly nowadays there are probably plenty of bands that can match it (CRYPTOPSY spring to mind), but that's with ten years' benefit of hindsight. And it must be added that the songwriting on this album is much better and more dynamic than most grindcore acts aspire to. Unquestionably one of the most remarkable extreme metal albums of all time, as well as BRUTAL TRUTH's finest. I can't believe people still think that the likes of SLIPKNOT are heavy when they could be having this instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most "Brutal" albulms out on the market!, April 28, 1999
By A Customer
This is Brutal Truth's best album. A bit hard to find but if you hear this album you will definately understand why! I've heard some amazing hardcore music before but "Extreme Conditions..." is unbelievably fast and heavy it's unreal! If you like death metal or grindcore you'll love Brutal Truth.

5.0 out of 5 stars GRIND+SLUDGE+BRUTAL TRUTH=PERFECTION!!, January 4, 2006

A great combo of BEYOND FAST grind and SLUDGE!!

You may not know but this is one of the best of the 90's, in the whole underground movement!! A TOTAL CLASICK TO ME!!

The riff's on this thing are LETHAL and Lilker of course muder's ya with that BULLDOZER BOWEL BASS TONE!!!

And the druming of Scott Lewis is competeing with a nasa space launch, but he is much FASTER!!!! another example of how EXTREME METAL druming is done!!

There is some ''left wing'' crap on here, but man I dont even give a FUKK, they killed that later on any way!!!

ONE OF THE BEST EVER..DONT OWN IT?? POSER!!!!!!!!!!!!
