Love this book! Joni teaches you everything you need to know about couponing. Where to find extra coupons & how to "stack" coupons. You will learn all the terminology. This is a fun but informative book that I will read over and over again.

This is a newer version of other books I have on couponing. It addresses I phone apps and using coupons scanned from the smart phones. I'd recommend especially for the new couponers.

Just finished reading this book by Joni Meyer-Crothers and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to anyone!!! This book breaks down the basics of couponing so even first time shoppers can understand how to use coupons. It also stresses the importance of giving back and passing the blessings of your coupon trips on to others in your community. Joni challenges everyone to donate 5 items a week to a food bank, shelter or someone in need...her compassion in this mission is so touching! This book is more than just a couponing book "Its a GOD THING". I honestly can't say enough good things about this book, it definately deserves a 5 star rating. Way to go JONI!!!

EXCELLENT BOOK
This book explains all concepts of couponing and saving money. It also tells what you can do with extra products to help people who are down-on-their-luck. The author should be congratulated for the wonderful christian attitude and the great instruction given on how to save, make money and help others!

I have been reading other couponistas' work for years. I teach classes in couponing at the local public library as well as teaching my own 10 children now working on teaching 5 grandchildren to be savvy shoppers. There are an ever increasing number of How-To couponing books out there; few I would recommend. Extreme Couponing: Learn How to Be a Savvy Shopper and Save Money by Joni Meyer-Crothers is one of those few gems in a very large quarry full of rubble that I recommend to the many people I talk to about couponing.

This book is for someone who has money and want to save some for a "rainy day", not as it says in the beginning of the book for a single mother of three kids, who strugles to feed them. First of, it is probably pricy ( I mean the price of the book) for a mother who is trying to stratch a penny to buy food for kids or tooth paste. Second of all, on the web page there is a pure advertisement of a book (a way to make money, huh). Third of all, it is kind of pricy to get all the supplies (which are sold on the same web site, espesially if you don't know what you will feed your kids tonight. Well..... I do know how to cut coupons from the newspaper and bring them to my shopping trip. I knew how to pair coupons on the same product ( or it's called stacking in this book). I wanted to know where to find web sites to get free coupons, not to pay for the clipping, shiping, buying Sunday newspaper. I guess it is impossible :( I even found a little lie in this book about Similac coupons, where the author had $5 off ANY formula and she got it for $3 something and got cash back. I am holding exactly the same coupon in my hand and it says "PURSHASE MUST exceed $5.00" I don't know of any store in my neighborhood where you could walk out with the full cart of groceries and cash (they paid) in your hand.
This book is mostly terminology (what's called what) I don't really care that blinky is a blinky as long as it give me my 25 cents coupon. It also says to stock up on diapers if there are on sale for 12 cents. I, personally, don't stock up on diapers (not a store brand) unless with the coupons I can get them for 9-10 cents.
The book is about everything and nothing at the same time. It doesn't give details on how or where to get those high value coupons to get something dirty cheap or free.
