The opening line--"Manteca"--burns the house down. Outstanding solo work by Carl Saunders is worth the album price and other tracks are sheer joy, featuring solo work by Bob Efford, Christian Jacob, Bud Armstrong, Charlie Lager and the boss, Pat Longo.

One listen to Manteca and you'll be hooked. This is a high-energy album that maintains its feel throughout.A great buy. The artwork itself is worth the price.
