High capacity, fast and very reliable.

As a memory device, they work very well and their writing speed certainly makes a difference in allowing the camera to keep up at a high frame rate.

I have a camera that shoots 12 fps of RAW+JPEG at the same time...that's 360mb/sec. This card has no problems with it. 'Nuff said.

Brilliant! Extremely fast and works as defined. The SanDisk brand has not failed me before and certainly hasn't in this purchase either. I am using this with a new Canon M41 HD camcorder.

I purchased this card for my wife's Sony A65. She no longer has to wait for the little red light to tell her the picture is saved. I found that the download to the computer is extremely fast as well. Highly recommend this product even with the higher price point.

I ordered this card for my Sony A77 camera and it works great. when you do 12fps Burst it helps a lot and lots of space for movie recording. I can get 5hrs & 19min on this 64GB card.

Works well and is very fast for SD cards. If you do not have a camera and card reader that supports SDXC and UHS-I, then the card is NOT worth purchasing (unless you want to future-proof for future hardware upgrades). The card reader must also have true USB 3.0 support or attached via PCI-Express to take advantage of UHS-I speeds (i.e. 104MB/s max). Attaching a USB 2.0 cable to a UHS-I compatible camera is not going to work for fast transfer speeds.

ATTO 2.47 Disk Benchmark via Silverstone FP37B USB 3.0 card reader @1024KB, Renesas uPD720202 USB 3.0 chipset: (converted KB results to MB)

Windows 7: Write 75.9 MB/s, Read 78.5 MB/s (fastest read for any transfer size is 81.2 MB/s)
Windows 8 Consumer Preview: Write 79.3 MB/s, Read 82.7 MB/s (fastest read for any transfer size is 83.4 MB/s)

Didn't quite reach 95 MB/s but still pretty fast. Obviously, USB 2.0 will just not cut it.

Update #1: ATTO benchmark seemed to run better after the computer was left running longer in Windows 8 Consumer Preview: 90.1 MB/s for both read and write. Still not quite 95 MB/s as labeled but reached the magical 90 MB/s barrier.

I purchased this SD card for my father's laptop. I needed to create a backup solution that didn't involve remembering and/or hooking anything up to the computer. I also needed it to not take hours to backup. I found this 95MB/s card and was a bit suspicious about the speed on a laptop but I was proven wrong.

I have the SD card in the laptop's built-in SD card slot and I presume my dad's already forgotten it's even there. The backup of 30+GB of data took less than 10 minutes. I'm super impressed with the speed and there were zero issues with Windows 7 recognizing it. I put it in the laptop, setup the disk imaging / backup on a schedule to this SD card and voila, no action required on anyone's part. At this point it was worth every penny. I'll certainly update this review if I encounter any issues down the road.

I have purchased several of these for use in a high-res camera (Nikon D800). As a memory device, they work very well and their writing speed certainly makes a difference in allowing the camera to keep up at a high frame rate.

However, there is an issue with the small plastic "write protect" switch on the side of the card. On a couple of the units (not all), the switch is loose enough that slight lateral pressure (e.g., from simply inserting the card into the memory slot on the camera) is sufficient to knock the switch into its protected mode. This, of course, disables the card from being written to by the camera - a potential disaster if you're out on a shoot. When pulled back out, the switch returns to its non-protected position. This got so bad on one unit that I had to use a tiny drop of CA glue (superglue) to firmly lock the switch in its non-protected position.

On my windows 7 system the card actual memory reads 59.4 GB.

I bought this for my new Canon VIXIA HF M500 Full HD video camera. I bought it because HD videos need high speed read/write memory card. So the 95MB/s speed was the catch. And so far I can't complain. My camera doesn't freeze while shooting. This card is perfect for HD video recording. I wish they could make it in bigger storage size like 250 GB.
