Purchased this book for for a 9 year old. He did not find it too interesting. The book was well done. Great pictures and interesting information. I think it would be suited for a younger child but still needs to be a child who can read at a higher level..unless mom or dad help them out!

I bought this for my grandson, who's 10. I had it shipped directly to him so I didn't see it but he said he liked it alot. "This book is really good, Gran, thanks." His words so I assume it was pretty good. It was shipped right away from a used book seller so it was received in a matter of a few days in like new condition.

This is a great book. The pictures and information really captured my 5 year old girls' attention. Not all of the pictures were 3-D, however, which was a little bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, great book!

My son is so fascinated by the photos in this book he loves reading the information accompanying each one. I love joining him in looking while we sit on the sofa. No nightmares, either!

My grandson loved the first but it got misplaced over the years. It's novel enough that adults are amused by it. The level of detail is advanced enough for older children who are able to read.
