Kiki Tidwell says:
As an angel investor, as well as an impact investor, I found this book extremely valuable in noting that entrepreneurial ecosystems really just can't be created anywhere, even though many impact investors would like them to be. There needs to be a diversity of opinion, a flow of immigrants into a system, as well as other factors, to create innovation. Governments, charitable foundations, and investors should read this book first before sending more well-meaning dollars to entrepreneurial incubators and other programs. As angel investors, we don't just need more start-up companies, we need good companies that have a chance of survival to invest in.
