I bought this sculpture to hang on my front porch instead of a hanging plant. Although this location does not get enough sunlight to really see the colors well, I'm happy with my purchase as a three-dimensional art form to add some grace to my otherwise heavy-looking front porch. The sculpture looks almost black in the dim light here, but you can see the vanes and the outline of the heart and butterfly clearly. If you want to see the full range of colors, be sure to pick a location that gets a lot of sun. This sculpture is made of powder-coated steel, so I think it will be durable.
