Interesting exploration of the true Mata Hari,
By A Customer
This review is from: Eye of Dawn: The Rise and Fall of Mata Hari (Hardcover)
Fast-paced and detailed, this book paints a sympathetic portrait of this century's most well-known female spies. Written almost in novel prose, the book skips a number of salient facts but is still an engaging re-telling of the story. Worth a read!

This review is from: Eye of dawn: The rise and fall of Mata Hari (Hardcover)
A bit romantic at times...obvious that the author has a sincere admiration for Mata Hari. (But then, who can blame her? ) Lays out the chronology of her life quite well and draws logical conclusions. Reads almost like a novel. Very enjoyable.
