5.0 out of 5 stars Power Melodic Energy with a Twist!
If you've ever listened to metal, and you wished that there was a band out there that combined the energy, and innovation of the 80's with a modern twist, then this band is it!

They have a little of something for everybody on this album, and it has a much more harder edge to it from their last album, and in particular if you are into dark/death/goth metal, then...

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing Special
I don't like this much. It's very generic Power Metal. The singer is average. The guitar sound is a touch heavier than your typical happy power metal in that the guitars are slightly more dirty like a progressive power metal band such as Secret Sphere. It's getting awful tough to make an impact using this style but it can be done. I like the effort here and the...

If you've ever listened to metal, and you wished that there was a band out there that combined the energy, and innovation of the 80's with a modern twist, then this band is it!

They have a little of something for everybody on this album, and it has a much more harder edge to it from their last album, and in particular if you are into dark/death/goth metal, then check out the last track, "Revolution in Paradise!" They employed a friend, Andreas Solveström, from the band, "Within Y" to sing on the song. They did a great job mixing in his singing style in with their melodic, harmonizing vocals.

Overall, this is solid album, and you'll get your money's worth if you purchase it, and also you'll have a hard time getting some of the tunes out of your head!

hello metallians this cd has made me one happy metallian, i was like a kid in a candy store when i first heard this album. hook after hook of awesome guitar riffs and sing along choruses of the highest grade. you remember that feeling you got when you first heard hammerfalls first album or when you first heardprimal fear, i do , it was so catchy and stayed in your head permanently. that is how this album does you. it is like an orgasm when a metallian first hears a huge power chord riff and soaring catchy choruses, its hard to explain, that is why we metallians truly love our music more than any other type of music fan and speaking of fans no fans are more devoted and awesome as metal fans, like i mentioned before to us it is like a drug. like when i first heard iron maiden singing the number of the beast or when i first heard priest singing the hellion electric eye it was so intense and stayed with me from then on and to this day nothing makes me feel better than hearing an awesome power metal song. well metallians this band has the stuff it takes to write and compose killer catchy songs that are timeless and full of heart. i have not been this excited about a band since the first time i heard wolf's evil star cd. or since i heard silent force's worlds apart cd and freternias nightmare story cd. you know alot of power metal albums grow on you with each listen and takes a little longer to really connect with you, but this album connected with me from the first time i played it. other than the bands mentioned above i love pretty much all the power metal bands but some stick out above the rest like the above mentioned and bands like dark moor with their beyond the sea and dragonland with their starfall cd. im a huge fan of primal fear and gamma ray and grave digger and rage and running wild and king diamond and this band has just what it takes to become a part of this league of the elite. buy this album and get ready sing along with every song and while you are at it check out twisted tower dires crest of the martyrs album and rob rocks holy hell album, you will not regret it. your friend and brother in metal brandon whitson 25 of north carolina
