Fun for my 4-1/2 year old,

we went to a book fair at my daughter's preschool & let her pick out one book. i'm so glad she found this one. it has supplied hours of endless fun. it has three "tools" that it comes with. one is a magnifying glass, one is a blue viewer (so you can see objects hidden on the page when you look through it) and the last one is something i'd never seen before. it is hard to explain but it gives a flashlight effect on the page - only allowing you to see the picture on the page where the "flashlight" is (the "flashlight" is just a tool with a white end - no lights or anything). The pictures are very silly & the objects you have to find are fun as well. I would recommend this to anyone ages 3-1/2 & up.

Fun and enjoyable book!,

My son got this for his fifth birthday and loves it. He is already looking at Waldo books and so this was a fun addition. I do believe that a smart 3 1/2 year old could enjoy this book, too. Anyone over 6 would probably find it not challenging enough. Still a fun buy... highly recommend!

My grandaughter loved it. The variety of the activities and the "instruments" included for them gave her lots of fun. As all of Klutz books this one is great!

The puzzles are JUST the right level of challenging for young children.,

Too many search-and-find books are so difficult they have no chance - or, anticipating that, so EASY they're insulting.
This book has a clever compromise - the pictures are easy enough to find... but you have to do so while looking with a small "lens". That ups the challenge level just enough, while making it MORE fun for kidlets. Everybody wins!

We discovered the Klutz/Chicken Socks brand while in a museum gift shop. When we researched it a bit further we found them to have many fantastic products and activities of interest. In particular this "Eye Find" book hit the spot as a variation to the "I Spy" books my 4 year old adores. Eye Find has 3 different "tools" that are used to work through the pages...a magnifying glass, a colored window to see hidden pictures and a "flashlight" which is a a white wand of sorts that when slipped behind the gray film, appears to be illuminating the pictures like a flashlight. Great fun!! We have purchased this book 2-3 times to give out for borthday gifts. (We've never been a duplicate gift giver with this one...LOL!)

Great I find book! My daughter started using it around age 3.5 and is still enjoying it now at 4.5. We put it away and bring it out for eating out or airplane trips and it works great! Even her little brother age 2 is starting to just try it out! The flashlight one is the best of the three "tools".

My son got this book when he was 3, he has been returning to this book since then and it's been a year already. We take this book along every time we travel and he is so captivated by it. He enjoys playing with it by himself and also with other kids and his grandparents. The magnifying glass is not really helpful, but kids love using it anyways and the game of finding the tiny objects on the pages is really challenging even for some grownups:), the most fun are the other two - the flashlight and the blue light. We love chicken sock books at our home and we give them as presents to all our friends.

This has been one of the best travel items we've found for when we travel with our 3.5 and 5-year old boys. They LOVE playing with the different viewing tools, and finding things. We keep it stored away when we're not traveling, and then just pull it out on special trips. The kids can amuse themselves for quite some time with this!
