DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I bought this as a gift for a friend thinking it would be the perfect item to help her relax. I tried it out for myself before giving it to her. Its actually very uncomfortable and it just vibrates. Put your cell phone on vibrate and leave it on your face and you will get the same effect. The "modes" are just the speeds that it vibrates and it has some pulses too. My friend actually described it as irritating, and I agree. I am sure there are good facial and eye massage products out there but this is not one of them.
