When I ordered this, I did not realize that it is geared towards church bulletin boards. I thought about sending it back for a refund, but after I looked through it, I realized that it was an excellent resource of ideas and information. I am keeping this book and I know that I can use the examples and tips for any school environment. It is an excellent book to help pep up bulletin boards. Higly recommended!

These bulletin boards will take awhile to do. Pretty intensive, but I think would be worth the effort. I do 3-d boards, but i use objects and put them on the board to make them 3-d, this is more how to make your letters stand-out, etc. If you are in to that may be good, this type of book is for the meticulous, perfectionist. Religious in nature also.

When I looked inside this book I was stunned and disappointed. No where in its description does it mention that it is of little use to those not teaching in a Christian/Bible/Sunday school. The ideas for moving bulletin board items away from the background are not new. The graphics are done in a style appealing to children but are useless to most teachers. Obviously, I did not read the reviews further down the page or I would never have bought the book.

I wish I would have read the previous reviewer! Imagine my surprise when this book came to my synagogue! The bulletin board themes are Christian but the ideas are good. Amazon should make this clear in the description and the title of the book should reflect the subject matter. The author could get much more milage from her ideas by coming up with secular themes. Oh well, good ideas come from all sorts of places.
