The music from the "Æon Flux" cartoon series and defunct CD-ROM and PlayStation game (which later got released as "Pax Corpus", though I don't know if it features any of the original music) is fantastic. Experimental, synthy, moody, weird, unique.
Originally released in '97, the "Eye Spy - Ears Only: Confidential" album featured edited down/shortened versions of some tracks and excluded several tracks altogether, due to being released on only two CDs. In 2010, Drew Neumann, the series' composer, released on his site (Google his name or Droomusic) the full soundtrack album, entitled "Eye Spy: Declassified, Freedom of Information Act", as 320kbps MP3s, remastered from the original master tapes and including the full length versions of previously truncated tracks, as well as a whole third volume of previously unreleased tracks--music from one of the episodes, the shorts, and from my understanding tracks that were never used at all. Included with the audio files are PNG scans of the original album's artwork, as well as an image of the original, unused cover artwork by Peter Chung, and cover artwork for the third volume. Unfortunately, Neumann apparently has no plans to release this extended album on CD, though mentions on the site a possibility of a limited run if enough interest is worked up. Here's hoping for a three-disc set in the near future with lavish artwork and that; nothing beats owning a physical product! But for 12 bucks, the three-volume MP3 album is a great value, and the money goes directly to the artist. Here are the track listings and lengths for the remastered album: Volume 1 1. Intro (0:36) 2. Ultimate AF (2:16) 3. Train Station (3:09) 4. Monican Jam (1:17) 5. The Torturer (1:07) 6. Train Cars (2:30) 7. Breen Lounge Lizard (0:41) 8. Computera (2:20) 9. Heroes (Extended Version) (4:39) 10. Marche (3:12) 11. Errors of the Night (3:47) 12. Gravity (2:57) 13. Alien Leisure (2:59) 14. Dark Prison (3:15) 15. Phobia Suite (Extended Version) (16:24) 16. Dictators Office (1:12) 17. Demigods (15:55) 18. Windtunnel (1:12) 19. Memory Lapse (Extended Version) (15:00) Volume 2 1. Choice (12:45) 2. Clones (13:51) 3. Paradise (Extended Version) (15:20) 4. Tragedy of Flight (Extended Version) (14:05) 5. Underwater Suite (Extended Version) (13:24) 6. Time Pretzel Paradox (Extended Version) (14:14) 7. Closure (0:36) Volume 3 1. Declassified (0:22) 2. Chronos Multiverse (11:14) 3. Beautiful Animation (1:05) 4. First Episode 1991 (1:56) 5. Breen National Anthem (0:20) 6. Fluxy Bolero (2:18) 7. Loaded (0:36) 8. Rooms O Blood (2:04) 9. Elevator Episode (2:10) 10. Freedom of Outro (0:56)

I adore avant garde electronic music. It is becoming extremely difficult to locate relevant voiceless electronica. Electronic music has become a vast expanse of redundant and futile house music and guitar synth. I am extremely pleased that I have discovered the work of Drew Neumann. I am fully aware of what sonic formulations are being considered contemporary electronica, and even though this work is of the previous century, it is still firmly within the realm of the avant garde. This work defies placement within any accepted subgenre of electronica, and that is exactly the manner of music I am searching for.

This music is amazing. It is so original. It's a mix of techno music with asian influences. I really love this cd, and loved listening to the music on Aeon Flux. I love Aeon Flux.

A large chunk of the score to multiple episodes of Peter Chung's animated series Aeon Flux, which debuted on MTV approximately two years ago and is rerun from time to time.Eerie, stimulating ambient techno-environmental wackiness. Yes!

After I started watching Aeon Flux I immediately liked it. The soundtrack was amazingly unique and was perfectly matched to the visual. I looked for a soundtrack disc for the series but initially could not find one. Then I looked at the music credits for the series and noted Drew Neumann. That was the link. If you are interested in great electronica this soundtrack is a must for your collection. It is a pity the Aeon Flux series was so short lived.

There's a lots of good music here. I think that it's worth a listen even if you're not a fan of Aeon Flux.

Electronica at its best,

Drew Neumann has created a unique combination of ethnic, electronic, techno, orchestral, and even some elements of rock in this unofficial soundtrack to Aeon Flux. On its own, the music seems like one long composition (since the emotions are changing, but the overall effects is the same). However, listening to this 2-CD set, one can feel the action and emotion of the show. Put simply, Neumann is a musical genius, and his music is incredibly complex and enjoyable.

I was thrilled to know that the soundtrack to the only television show I've ever watched came out. A very creative and dynamic soundtrack. It gets repetative but is a great trance album.
