Product Description

Powerful eye loupe magnifiers like those used by jewelers are a huge help with fine-detail work like watch repair, jewelry design and more. But traditional loupes can be hard to use without sacrificing a hand to hold in place. This ingenious set mounts two 16mm loupes on a strong, flexible metal frame so you keep both hands free. Lenses slide on the frame to adjust for proper eye-width, then screw-tighten in place; one or both flip-up out of the way when not needed.

This product is fun, I only bought it for a costume piece, but I was deeply upset with the fact that one of the nose pieces was non-existent.
If you are buying these glasses for actual use - I'm not sure if this is exactly the best choice. There isn't any adjusting the magnification and unless you have the object you are viewing centimeters away from the glasses and the magnification isn't all that great anyway. Keep in mind this is coming from an 18 year old, so my eyes are pretty good still.

Very cheaply made, although for the price meh, put it on and the nose piece fell off. Unable to focus both lens to see a bifocal view. Either right or left eye is looking at the part you are trying to magnify. This becomes very frustrating when you are wrkng on a watch. You either focus one or the other eye never both together, which is why I bought it. This said for the magnification its alright. Does the magnification without blurriness or distortion. Just watch out when you are trying to get both oculars so u can get a good view. You can move them in or out, but the occulars pop off so you have to stop and get them back on. These are something you need to focus on something else. Unless u want cheap.

Ok, I try and work on model cars and other small stuff, and my eyes can use all the help they can get. These ARE NOT the help they needed. Unless you are cutting diamonds (like in that old commercial) or fixing a watch, don't bother. I have come to understand that the focal length (the distance something comes into focus) gets much shorter as you increase the magnification. So, these are good about 6 inches from your face, plus or minus 1/2 inch. Anything out of that range is out of focus, badly. Look at them, and you can readily tell that you can only use ONE EYE AT A TIME, NOT BOTH.

They look cool in a steampunk sort of way, they have pretty good lights that I will steal and put on my 3.5 visor (bought on Amazon). I wound up taking the lens out of one, so I have one 10x and one 5x, flipping one out of the way depending on what I'm doing. Good thing they were cheap, but look elsewhere for usable magnifiers. I like the open eyeglass ones that come with a bunch of different lenses, about 10-12 bucks on here somewhere.

The two eyes don't focus together, so you have to close one eye or the other to use it. What's the point of having lenses over both eyes if you can't use them together? (This was my wife's purchase. If someone knows a way to focus the lenses she didn't figure out, please let me know and I'll take back my review.)

I bought these hesitantly for soldering. You can obviously only use one at a time, so I'm not sure why they include two identical loupes. Likely to allow you to switch between eyes. I had intended to replace one of the 20x loupes with a 10x loupe to allow me to quickly changed between magnification, but that didn't pan out. They were cheaply constructed and the nose pad were highly deformed on arrival. Each loupe is supposed to swivel up and out of the way, which they do, but on mine only one holds its position. The other falls down immediately. However, they don't cost much. If you are doing a lot of work having your hands free is, well, handy.

Cheap metal frame, but at this price they do the job. At this magnification you are working right in front of your face, so workstation set up is critical. They are wearable, but you are blind to anything else with them on! Oh, and they sent me 20x instead of 10x version. No instructions included, LED lamps use watch batteries for power.

I purchase this thinking it would be perfect for my needlework. They are cheaply constructed. The lenses do not sit anywhere near ones eyes and once you get them on you have to hold the item 1/4 inch away from what you are working on to see anything. The so called light do not light up, vision can not be adjusted either. What a total waste of my time and money!!!

I got this to use when making jewelry or doing needle crafts. It works pretty good if you hold the item you're working on close to the glasses. But for a comfortable distance, like arm's length they don't focus well. The lighting is good though and I've found if I just use one lens it's a little better.
