Book Description

December 15, 2007
When a desperate woman hires a private investigator, the secrets they discover about her birth force her to consider two shocking possibilities. Convinced she is a no one, with nothing, she suddenly finds her life is in peril. Set in a contemporary southwest rich in ethnic diversity, the story involves prejudice, fear of ridicule, the search for a missing person and elusive answers to controversial questions. The Eyes Have It takes the reader on a multi-faceted ride filled with historic reflections as it joins the age-old debate between believers and debunkers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprises at every turn, March 21, 2008
This review is from: The Eyes Have It (Paperback)
The character development is very intriguing and is masterfully woven together into a spellbinding read that you will not want to put down. The book is written and researched so well that it feels like you know what is going through the characters minds and why. It's look into other cultures is also very enlighting. It may make you rethink some of your beliefs. As we follow the plot to its final chapter we only hope there is another on the way about these people that we have come to care about.

It's a great read.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Family Mystery Around Birth, Business and Beliefs, February 10, 2008
This review is from: The Eyes Have It (Paperback)
The story is set in the southwest bringing in many different cultures. The author takes us into the psyche of her characters and their individual problems. All this is complicated by a mysterious birth which is mind boggling. The interplay between the cultures is heart warming. The story moves quickly which made it difficult for me to put it down. It is multi-facited and left me thinking about my own beliefs long after I finished reading. I found the author's descriptions made pictures in my mind. I loved that. The "Eyes Have It" is a most enjoyable read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Laced with mystery, social messages, and an excellent story, April 4, 2009
This review is from: The Eyes Have It (Paperback)
The value of one's birth when complicated by extraterrestrial overtones is something that is hotly debated. "The Eyes Have It" follows a woman as she seeks to find out her origins. Prejudice against such types are strong in her place of origin, and the thought of being a human/alien hybrid is devastating. Laced with mystery, social messages, and an excellent story, "The Eyes Have It" is an excellent read.
