5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful book of children
This book is a beautiful journey for your baby and preschoolerabout all those body parts that they love to identify- ears, and noseand toes etc. Further, the illustrations are large and inviting. The most wonderful part of this book is that the children are black and white and asian- they all have noses and ears and eyes, but they don't all look alike. The children look...

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
I had read about this book in one of my parenting magazines. My daughter is not interested in this book. She would rather me read other books to her than this one.

The children look like all of us- different and beautiful. This book conveys more then where your nose is- through illustrations, it introduces and reinforces for our children that everyone is different and that these differences are beautiful and important END

5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful Read, July 25, 2006
After checking out this book at our library three times, I decided to finally buy this book for my one year old. We read the book daily, and she now mimics the children in the book. As we come to the appropriate page, she plays peek-a-boo, claps, holds up one finger to count along, and blows kisses to the children in the book. It's rare to find a children's book so well written.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!, December 13, 2005
This book has been my 18 month old's favorite for about six months now! She anticipates every page and we do movements along with the story. Most of it rhymes really well...and it is FUN to read with her. I would recommend this book for the 9 months-2 year old crowd. You won't be disappointed if you love reading with your children!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for introducing body parts, May 16, 2005
By
My 13 month old has just started learning body parts and thinks this book is WONDERFUL! So far she can point to her nose, ears and mouth. I think it is too hard for pre this age but I expect to get a lot of use out of it for many years to come!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute Book, December 14, 2011

This is a cute book and a great introduction to the body parts. When play along as we read, pointing them out on our own body. It has a nice rhythm and a easy read for the younger kids (6 months-24 months). Too short for my older kids (2 and 3 years old).

5.0 out of 5 stars A long-standing favorite, April 8, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this book for my daughter when she was about 9 months old, and she was enraptured by it from our first read. In fact, we read it so much that I memorized the entire book, word for word, and I would recite it to her while holding her in my arms when she woke up at night. Something about the cadence of the words is very soothing. The illustrations of the babies are adorable and engaging to small children, and I believe this book really helped give my daughter the vocabulary she needed to talk about her body. Now, almost three years later, the book is upstairs in her little brother's room, but she still pulls it out and wants me to read it to her. A must have.
