Ms. Irvin hits the target with strong characters, laugh-out-humor, and enough sexual tension to float an aircraft carrier. Put this on the top of your TBR stack, then read it twice.

I really enjoyed this book - the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I felt like it dragged a bit in the middle. I wasn't caught up in it like I have been in other books. iw as able to put this book down and during the slow parts I was really tempted to skip pages but i didn't. I would read another book by the author though - she is a good writer.

I loved this book. The writing was great, but mostly, I adore strong heroines who aren't afraid to show their strength. Who wants to read about a simpering little wallflower? The woman I know are more than a match for their men, and I love how Ms. Irvin writes heroines. Great, great book! I can't wait for her next book.

Ms. Irvin's ability as an extremely talented author surely shines through within the cover of this book. The unusual twist of the heroine being in uniform was a welcome change. The touch of suspense only added to the emotionally charged, not to mention the sexual tension, wonderful read. I'm sure we will see much more from this very talented author in the near future.

If you like strong women, larger than life men, and a big dose of edge-of-your-seat suspense with your romance, get this book! Candace has a fresh, funny style all her own that makes For His Eyes Only a pleasure to read.

WOW! I am overwhelmed. I read For His Eyes Only in one steamy session. It is the best Intimate Moment I have ever read. It starts to sizzle from the first chapter and won't let you go. The suspense is great. Reese is super sexy and Jade is fun to identify with. To top it off I learned a lot about the Navy in a very enjoyable way. The writing is seamless.

FOR HIS EYES ONLY presents that rare and wonderful combination of near-flawless writing technique, beautifully realized characters, sharp and funny dialogue, faultless attention to detail, and a tight, thoroughly believable plot. The maturity, freshness, and grace of this writer's voice make it hard to believe this is her "first" novel. As close to perfect as they come.

Ms. Irvin's first book is fabulous. I'm late with this review, but you're not too late to buy this book now before it goes out of print. You won't be sorry. If you enjoy a strong heroine, a sexy hero with all sorts of secrets, and flawless writing, give FHEO a try! One of the best categories (maybe even The Best) of the year!!!

Lieutenant Jade Parker is they type of heroine I love to see, strong, compitent and completely feminine. Reese is a hero who is strong enough to deal with Jade's strengths and augment them. Watching their relationship form was delightful - and reading Candace Irvin's first book just left me hungry for her second!

It's wonderful to read a story about a strong heroine in an atypical job. I absolutely abhor weak women who need "saving", Jade is a great role model and Candace Irvin should be applauded for her chutzpah! Her knowledge of the military shines through without detracting from the romance. Reese is a strong hero who absolutely melted my heart. This book is wonderful!
