From the Author

I began writing as therapy when my first marriage started to fall apart. After writing commercials for 15 years, poetry somehow was easy. I grew up only enjoying poetry by Edgar Allan Poe and Grimm's Fairy Tales. Everything else, to me, just didn't seem to have it. Although I started writing as a way to try to understand things, it became a great way to share my feelings with others. Many of the poems contain a hard slap at the end, which will hopefully send a strong message to those for whom the poem was written. I have also tried to keep my later poems more open, so that it can mean different things to other people. To me poetry has become a way to get people who don't listen to enjoy listening and better yet even start understanding. I hope that my poems will in some way, help people to see different views and even better yet, help our world eventually to all get along.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Eyes of a Poem, January 17, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Eyes of a Poem (Hardcover)
A refreshing and enthusiastic collection of poems that's easily associated with life's highs and lows.
You quickly find out the poems in this book have a delightful purpose and often lighthearted point of view. This is a must have book for a novice or avid reader of poems.

1.0 out of 5 stars The WORST, most acerbic, uninspiring writing ever read, July 16, 2006
This review is from: The Eyes of a Poem (Hardcover)
This has got to be the very worst thing I've ever read. Seems like they all were written as a direct hit at a specific individual or situation under the guise of knowing what life is really all about. Not to mention, it is apparent that the author is a true narcissist to the endth degree. The words written, if read, are cancerous NOT inspiring or thought-provoking! Poems??? These writings are as amatuer as they come.
DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!!!!
