This book should only be read if you have read all of the previous books. It is great as it starts to bring back in all the major characters that are still alive while introducing some new ones. The interesting plot is still going strong in this book but you can tell that some of the loose ends are starting to get wrapped up. Reading this made me look forward to the ninth book so I could finish a great series.
