4.0 out of 5 stars A winner...
George Evans' smooth vocalizing simply evokes good taste and a mellow timelesness. Backed by a tight five-piece combo, he has put together a first-rate collection of 12 tunes -- there's not a dud in the bunch. 3.0 out of 5 stars George Evans
I enjoyed this but again it lacks what I'm looking for. I knew Jerry Fuller very well and am sorry he's gone. We did a lot of playing together. When I lived in Canada I thought I knew alot but NY teaches one that they know little and opens up your ears. It's all here. Decent cd.

Like good scotch, this disc is smooth and potent at the same time.

What a wonderful selection of tunes! I really like this CD.
Great rendition of ALFIE, and I really like his versions of
"I'm a fool to want you" and "Spring will be a little late this year"
...and I hear he's been nominated for this year's "Canadian Jazz
Awards" Bravo!
