Gorgeous format. This is currently the most popular book in my preschool classroom. The teachers refer to it frequently and the children can't put it down. I only wish it was made of steel, it is so often being explored and toted around by the children that the wear is showing.

When they say it will appeal to all ages, they aren't kidding. The copy our family owns has been admired by people in ages ranging from 5 to "no comment".

This is a must have coffee table book. You can spend hours reading the snippets of information DK is famous for having in their books. As always the pictures are spectacular.
