This is the fifth book in the Richard and Rose series and truly one of the best. If you have not read this series I cannot recommend enough starting with the first book, Yorkshire. The first book is how Richard and Rose first meet and fall in love and it cannot be missed. It has truly been a joy to read how Richard and Rose, along with a wonderful array of colorful characters, deal with the dramas that occur in their life set in the Georgian era.This book takes Richard and Rose to his family estate in Derbyshire. Alot of secrets and lies come out in this one, so there is no shortage of the intrigue and suspense that is typical of a R and R adventure. We also get to see the couple evolve into an even deeper connection that I did not think was even possible. So if you are already a Richard and Rose fan, Eyton will not disappoint. It will only make you love the couple even more. |
