Recovering from hysterectomy surgery and weary of walking with my 3-wheel walker in the house - hitting walls, doors and anything else the walker doesn't quite fit through I figured there had to be an alternative that wouldn't drive me crazy!!!
I had seen these canes with 4 feet and thought - this is what I need.
I began my Amazon search, reading reviews, trying to make the best quality choice, and get the best value. I wanted one that was made out of quality strong material yet was lightweight enough for me to lift it into the trunk of my car
After some research of other canes, I decided that the Ez2care adjustable small base quad cane in black was it!!I
This small base quad cane arrived in a huge box, well wrapped and quite quickly, I might add. I did all the adjustments after reading the enclosed sheet and quickly learned how to use it. It adjusts to either left or right usage and height with just a click. The cane is sturdy, no wobbling if used correctly. The 4 little feet give it stability and the small base makes it very easy to go up and down stairs - no need for those big clunky based canes where the legs stick out and trip you up. Then you have worse problems caused by something that's supposed to help you!!!
It is built strong, yet lightweight and lifts easily into the car. The sleek black color goes nicely with anything you're wearing, it doesn't look like a big medical misfit and is not embarrassing to use out in public. If so desired, the strap attached to the handle could make it that you don't leave this cane behind by accident. (So far, my mind hasn't slipped or dipped to that degree!!!! ha ha ha )
I gave this quad cane 5 stars because I couldn't find anything wrong with it, it works well for me and it gives me the flexibility that I need to be able to get around the house more easily and to go out shopping, etc. without the fear of falling and making me feel like some kind of nutcase. Thankyou for a quality product that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!!

My mom received this cane as a gift. She frequently places her regular cane nearby when she needs two hands and either leaves it or it falls to the floor. This cane will prevent both of those things from happening. She likes the stability of it. Matter of fact she has one where she needs help getting up and a second to move around the main section of the house. Thanks!

I expected this to be more stable than my flip out cane, but it really isn't. If you don't get all four feet down in a level position (and that's not easy), it's wobbly. Also, it's wobbly at the adjustment point too so it wiggles a bit when I put my full weight (which is average) on it. I am 5'7" and the height is well adjustable for shorter or taller than me. The foam padded handle is comfortable especially compared with an un-padded one so it's better on the heel of my hand which usually gets sore from the pressure after a trip to the store. I only have to use a cane occasionally when my knee is acting up but I had my surgery years ago after a sports injury so I'm very familiar with using a cane. If you haven't used one before, this is probably not a good choice for you. If you need fantastic stability (like following a surgery or if you are much bigger than average), try a walker instead. I wouldn't buy this again and am actually considering returning it.
