This is excellent for someone with a lot of pills that need to be taken at different times of the day. It has a tray with 28 slots--four slots for different times of the day for each day of the week. The tray pulls out of the case, allowing you to arrange a week's pills all at once. The cover is clear, making it easy to check that each slot has the proper pills. This is much easier to set up than some other pillboxes where each day or even each time of the day has a separate (semi-opaque) cover that you have to pry open. Once the tray is replaced in the case, you access each day's pills with a separate sliding tab that exposes the first dose of the day, then the second, and so on. The whole locks securely so it won't open by accident.

That much is outstanding. The drawback is that the parts can fit very tightly and seem to get tighter with use. It can be quite hard to open. Also, the release latches are small and require nimble fingers and good eyesight. In other words, it might be very difficult for an older person to use but would be perfect if that older person has someone who helps them with their pills.

This was not what I was expecting at all. I bought this for my 92 year old grandpa and there was no way he could figure it out. I thought it was more like the pop up ones. The lock sticks and it is just difficult to use. I would not recommend it at all.

Shipping was great as usual though!!!
