It includes a variety of traditional Jewish commentaries along with Rashi's to give the student of the Tanach (The Holy Scriptures) a better understanding of the text. I am using this book as background for teaching and adult education course on the Book of Ezekiel.

Professor Greenberg contributed 2 volumes to the anchor bible commentary series, without quite finishing Ezekiel. His comments are very well considered and are at once exigetical and devotional. His deep appreciation for the text and his humility before the challenge of the prophet's message come through on every page. As a laymen using this a resource for teaching adult Sunday School, I found this to be accessible and an invaluable aid to understanding the message of Ezekiel.
