Excellent Study Material March 13, 2002

I enjoyed this book very much. The author achieved an excellent blend of scholarly information without being overwhelming to a lay-person. The author made the scriptures come alive. Incorporation of the verses being discussed in the NIV translation was helpful in keeping the flow of the book.
