Not being a shade tree mechinic, this book will get you started in at least I.D.ing parts of a vehile, maintenance, and just a solid understanding about your vehicle. Well worth the price!

This book explains itself. Never changed a feul filter before and this book guided me through it. a must buy for tinkerers and DIY people!

I purchased this book because I am a "Do it yourselfer". The only issue I have is with the year of my Ford and this manual. It seems that my truck was built between years so some items don't seem to go along with my year, either being the right model year or the next, seems to have a mixture of both. One major problem I have with my truck that I couldn't find in the manual is the IAC motor!! Where in the #%*& does that thing mount??? I bought the part but the manual doesn't show nor does the web show where it goes... The last place I want to go to is the dealer but it's not looking good for the team. Other than that, it's not a bad reference.

Have used this for several years now. Saved me money on changing brakes and other basic maintenance. Some elctrical diagrams not accurate but overall it is pretty good. There have been a few changes in production of the truck and the book covers most changes but there are a few inaccuracies. Normal for books of this type though.

I normally buy shop manuals from the dealer for my vehicles, but they have become outrageously expensive ($400 for engine/chassis). The Haynes manual is good for the basics. It's printed on newsprint paper, but I guess that's how they keep the cost way down. I recommend this product... would have given it 5 stars if the photos were clearer.
