4.0 out of 5 stars Great for its time
I've always loved flight simulators and I definitely rank F-22 Raptor high among them. Of course, it can't compete with the flight simulation software and hardware that is available in the 2008 market, but comparing it to Lock On is like comparing NES to PS3. It was written for a different time and was state-of-the-art in its day.

2.0 out of 5 stars F-22 Raptor review
I have every flight simulator , well just about every one that is on the market, this particular one F-22 in 1998 was up with it's times but now you have to use compatability mode if you use Window'a XP and set it for 98

then the graphic's are all broke up and will not take joystick comands, if you are a serious simulator pilot i dont recommend, if you are a...

The game play is fun and the radio chatter is witty. I like how it gives you extra points for shot accuracy and landing. Gliding back to the airstrip after running out of fuel and knowing you only have one shot at landing is sometimes more exciting than the missions.

You can control the F-22 using a keyboard (no mouse) or a joystick. I'm running it on XP right now (7/14/08) and it works just fine.

Overall it's a great game and worth the $5 it currently sells for.

then the graphic's are all broke up and will not take joystick comands, if you are a serious simulator pilot i dont recommend, if you are a collectore like my self it is worth adding to your collection as this is the beginning to the flight sim's we get today,

the game is playable but gets 2 stars for quality the general path of the game if it had better graphics and was remade to run XP would be a great game, this is just another attempt by novalogic to create a viable combat flight simulator

Novalogic need's to take this game revamp it to modern standereds of 2007 and they will have a winner,

if you use a older computer with windows 98 you may enjoy this simulator if it can be called on, but beware of glitchs and joystick, or lack of
