I bought this pack back when it was $10. As a gamer who prides himself on building a collection when games are on sale, this deal was amazing and well worth taking advantage of at that price. Now that I've finished all three games, I wanted to weigh in on the content of the package briefly as well as my experience with my first Amazon digital download.

First off, Amazon digital downloads are ridiculously easy if you use Steam (and are probably just as easy for those not using Steam, you'll just need to download from Amazon direct). Upon purchasing the games you are given access to the CD key/activation key, which can then be uploaded right onto steam for download and installation. All three keys worked like a charm and I was gaming in no time.

As for the games themselves, here's a quick rundown of the three games and the trilogy as a whole.

    F.E.A.R:
-Graphics: The game shows its' age graphically, but overall looks nice for when it was made and does a very nice job utilizing
    lighting for atmospheric effect.
-Gameplay: The Point Main (the main character) plays pretty similar to what you'd expect from a FPS from around this time period, but
with the added addition of a reusable and rechargeable bullet time effect called Reflex. However, that does not make the game any
less satisfying or fun to play. The game offers a variety of weapons to use that are all well suited to each situation. You can carry
a total of 4 weapons, but I quickly found my favorites and simply picked other weapons to compliment my choices. The levels are very
linear, but that is the style of game F.E.A.R. is.

Not exactly "Ultimate", it's missing the Fear 2 DLC "Reborn".

Great franchise. Buy it. Don't bother dl'ing from Amazon just copy and paste the keys into Steam's "Activate a product" option (iirc that's what it was called in Steam Client).

I played F.E.A.R. on CD-ROM (which doesn't use Steam to keep track of playtime) before ever buying this pack so I don't remember how long it took me to beat it, but the Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate missions took me 7 hours each and I spent another 3 hours beating the extra challenges on Perseus Mandate. F.E.A.R. 2 took me 12 hours. I'd like to note that F.E.A.R 2 had a substantial increase in graphical performance from F.E.A.R. 1 with hardly any extra impact on my hardware. That's always a good thing. Textures are much better and the whole game no longer plays inside a dreary office building - there are several different locations including gameplay with some daylight. F.E.A.R. 3, which makes some significant changes to gameplay with the duck and cover system and the addition of a 2-player co-op mode, also took me about 12 hours. I never played online put tried the practice mode which added maybe 2 or 3 hours of gameplay.

You can easily get 40 or 50 hours worth of gameplay from this pack, so if you can find it for $20 or less I'd recommend the purchase, especially when you consider F.E.A.R. 3 is a relatively new game from only 2011.

One of the most rewarding shooter franchises out there. You pay less than a full game for all the franchise worth, and Single-player DLCs. What more can you want. Only thing missing, is the 4 Mission DLC expansion for Fear 2, but that is just a minor loss.

Always perfect to play a game that makes you on your edge between scary moments and full gunplay empowerment with the awesome weapons, gore and excellet slo-mo in midst of physics, particles a lighting effects.

It becomes a bit repetitive, especially in environments design, but I recommend this to anyone that is tired of the same old FPS formula.

Totally brilliant series of games. First of all, it's a shame that Fear3 generally isn't as good as the previous two in the franchise, handled by different developers.and made like Modern Warfare. But the other two games (and the third party expansion packs) are nothing short of brilliance and a heck of a lot of fun. Some really great weapons and you'll never stop being amused by firing rods through people's skulls in slow motion. Bullet time is handled perfectly in this series and I can't believe I never played these earlier.

With all the stuff you get in this pack along with it being less then $10 was beyond great. F.E.A.R. 2 is a game I played on two different consoles, and have played through the game multiply times on both. I never got all the way through the first one, and I haven't even started on the third. Though I haven't beat the first or third the story over all is good enough to try this series out even if you have never heard of F.E.A.R. before. I highly recommend you play these games.

I absolutely love the first FEAR game. That being said, I absolutely hated the second one so much that I didn't even bother with the 3rd. FEAR 1's graphics may be dated, but the core game is still a fantastic shooter. The expansion packs for the first one were just as excellent.

FEAR 2 simplified a lot of the gameplay and completely changed the tone and feel of the game. Maybe with that in mind, the experience can be more enjoyable for you.
