Asus f3sv issues now,

I've had this machine for about 3 years now n have had to have it wiped clean of viruses a few times.(my own fault) this latest time i thought it was a more severe virus...but the techs agreed its prolly the motherboard. after reading the above similar troubles another user reports...well, im honestly glad i wasn't the only one w a bad line unit or something. I will say that its been a tremendous machine while operational and im not completely willing to rule asus out, at least untill i research a better company for my next laptop. don't be down on em...@ least they're not crappy hp, dell, or the other mainstream stooges...

Failed NVDIA m 8600 gs ASUS motherboard onboard GPU,

Had the motherboard with that on board video card replaced twice, loosing all my programs each time by careless support. Now the card has failed again and Asus seems to no nothing about the $200M lawsuit settlement for the known flawed GPU.
Want to guess who be buying another Asus product? Would gladly jump on a class action, like the HP consumers won. To make things worse, I took my lumps as a nvidia stock owner too. |
