Ray Rhodes offers an excellent series of devotionals that can serve as an excellent guide during the Christmas season. Having just finished his book on family worship for the Reformation season (another title worth checking out) I was glad to find this text with more of the same type of material, offering beneficial supplemental material to incorporate into worship with the family. The lessons, solidly scriptural, are easily accessible to various age groups, while also remaining engaging in content for adults. For those seeking to develop a regular pattern of family worship (at Christmas time or at any point) the family worship titles by Ray Rhodes make for a good starting point.

The writing is clear and succinct, giving the reader all that is necessary for Christ-filled days of Christmas celebration throughout the month of December.
