Some reviews:

"A triumph of the imagination, FAQ is a powerful, poetic and searching film."
(Cork Film Festival)

"FAQ is an unpredictable and intelligent treat, comparable with classic arty dystopias like Godard's Alphaville and Gilliam's Brazil."
(Carl J. Schroeder, The Mystical Movie Guide)

"An intelligent and terrible dystopia."
(Alfonso Merelo, Spanish Science Fiction Association , AEFCFT)

"Xavier Tort composes a solid and fascinating performance."
(David Lynk, Fantaterror)

"For moments a movie experiment of avant-garde (supported on a haughty utilization of the music: the notes do not form a mere sonorous frame but they are one more protagonist). In other moments it is an approximation to the famous negative utopia of Huxley, Orwell and different so many people."
(Darío Lavia, Cinefania)

"Everyone should see this film.Witness the birth of a future name in the cinema of the unusual."
(Paul Higson, The Zone SF)

"Carlos Atanes achieves a work more that interesting, placing himself among these authentic, different filmmakers, dedicated to creating their own expressive tools."
(Alejandro Yamgotchian, Arte 7)

"«FAQ is a truly unique and intelligent work that we were thrilled to screen and to offer it's North American Debut.»"
(Nate Dufort, director del Planet Ant Film Festival 2005)

"Watch FAQ and email me your take on this film, I am interested to hear what you think of it. Plus you need to tell me what they hell they got in that glass!"
(The Angry Princess, This Is Some Scene)

It's hard to explain what "FAQ" is. Strange, original, fascinating... I didn't like it at first viewing. But I dreamt about it that night. Then I watched it again and again and finally it beat me. Now I love this odd dystopia. With no doubt one of the greatest film dystopias ever made.

Everything about this film is ugly, the dialogue, the plot, the characters. its self indulgently nilistic and its 'abstractness' is skitzophrenic. Women treat men like trash, every conversation is castrating. The women blow up the Eifiel Tower, every crime is punished by death by torture. Sickness pretending to be deep.
