I got this for Christmas in 2013 so I could have an alternate means of transportation to get to college. I've probably put around twelve miles on it this month, going back and forth from my place to the ferry terminals and school. The only real issues I've had were some wires popping out of a plug on the motor (which was a really easy fix after I found the proper tools) and the rear mudflap not doing much because of the way the deck is designed. The handlebars feel a bit short (I'm 5'4" and they come up to my belly button when I'm standing on the deck), but they're probably at the perfect height if I got the seat kit. The deck tape also came off in the rain, so I'm going to throw some truck bed liner on it instead. It takes a couple tries to get it started in the cold (40*F), but it purrs like a kitten once the motor warms up. Other than that mishap with the wire, the scooter's construction is pretty solid.

i bought this scooter with the intent to make it go really fast.
stock at 5500 foot elevation with me at 160 lbs on it it would go about 25 mph not 35 .. maybe going down a hill or something
- i put a gp460 46cc engine on it with 4.2hp stock instead of the little 2hp thing it had on it. its 260 bucks
- then i installed a jetpro rhino tuned exhaust pipe from jetpro .. that made a huge difference added a powerband. its 180 bucks
-then i put on a different head gasket to raise the compression.. while i had the engine apart i did a mild port job. $10 + dremel
-then i put on a 44 tooth sprocket to get more max speed. $15
-i changed the tires to wet tread pocketbike 9.5 in. tires $30
-i also put clutch saver springs in it so the clutch fully engaged just off idle $10
-and of course a few tuning tricks to get max power from the walboro carb on the gp460 with a race filter and velocity stack.
- i want to try one of those nitrous kits for like 50 bucks but havent cause i didnt want to hurt my baby. never tried boost bottle.
im for sure pushing i would guess 7+ hp now and i got pulled over in a 40mph zone and the cop said i was going 46mph but i think it might go faster than that according to my gps ive hit 52mph on it but thats a guess too really..

keep everything loctite tight cause this thing basically ejects bolts and nuts i feel like every time i ride it i have to tighten stuff or ill lose it..
one more thing if you live in colorado you have to register it and get a low power scooter sticker which essentially means its a motorized bike .. you need insurance for the sticker .. the sticker is about 6 bucks for 3 years and my insurance is 33 bucks a year..

It has a sticking throttle cable when you full throttle it at times, but I think a new throttle cable should fix this.

It is giving me slower acceleration and top speed than it was. Was pretty good but not anymore it takes a while to ge tot top speed and with light throttle. I think and hope its just the spark plug though then itll be a 4 star scooter again at least.

It gives a very solid and good ride with the least vibration of any 49 cc scooter, plus its really quiet every time you go no throttle with it and coast. Hope the 2 new parts will fix it to normal again soon.
