Great book...great series,
By Will H. "Will H." (Overland Park, KS USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: FASTFORWARD: REAL BLUES FOR KEYBOARD (Fast Forward (Music Sales)) (Paperback)
The entire "FAST FORWARD" series of keyboard books (which include books by Jeff Hammer and Jack Long) are well worth their price. The blues series contain well presented blues theory and examples...as well as several VERY good sounding riffs and short solo pieces. These books are oriented towards the early to late intermediate pianist or keyboarder who has some experience and can already play a little bit. If you are a beginner...don't despair...you can still learn from these books. A beginner will however have to spend a little more time practicing basic fingering and understanding music theory that the book assumes you already understand and can do.
