This is one of my favorite classical CDs. I think that the whole CD is quite good, with excellent and average moments. But the interpretation of the Meditation from Thais is unforgettable. I do not like some of the transcriptions from other instruments, like Schumann's Träumerei, but this is the kind of music that everyone enjoys. The quality of sound is good and Elman delivers an emotional perfomance in some of the tracks. I have always loved those musicians that you can recognize them when they perform any music. Like Elman, Rubinstein, or Casals.
