I bought this to use as an alternative charger for my KLIC7004 batteries for my Kodak Zi8. I also bought two extra batteries that it is capable of charging and the instructions for the batteries said that when you first place them in this charger it may appear that they are charged but to charge them for 10 hours regardless. So I did. At the end of 10 hours I took the first battery out and it was just shy of dead. "Great" I thought. "I got a bad battery." I put the second battery in for 10 hours and the same thing happened. I took both batteries and charged them in the Kodak Zi8 and they charged up just fine. The charging LED on the unit also does not work properly. It SHOULD go from red to green as the battery recharges. It just remains a steady green even if it is plugged in with no battery in it. The information that came with the charger says it is guaranteed for a year and if you have a problem to return it to the address given along with a $9.95 handling charge. By the time I do that, along with shipping charges, I could buy a better quality charger. It's a case of caveat emptor - let the buyer beware. First time I ever got a bad product from Amazon. If you are looking for a charger of this type, save yourself some aggravation and spend a bit more for a better model. I wish I would have.

So far, it has worked like a charm, and the 1100 mah battery outlasts the much more expensive stock battery Kodak Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery/KLIC 7004

You just can't beat the price, and performance has been as expected.

As noted by other reviewers, it just plain doesn't work. I bought this item to have as a spare charger. I like to have multiple chargers for travel etc.

My battery is the Fuji NP50, which is one of the noted battery types. I have tried 4 batteries in this product, and they won't charge. I do have a charger that came with my camera that does work, and have confirmed that it is this charger, not the battery that is junk.

Why bother with the hassle of a return for another $10?

Worthless item, destined for the trash can.

Is the first time I get a bad product from amazon and since the shipping cost almost as the product I am losing $9 USD, beware is the worst thing ever does nothing when you plugged in do not waste your money and time and buy a best product, maybe a Kodak brand perhaps.

What I got didn't look like the picture. Had all the parts, 12v adaptor, etc... but the charger itself was different. It also doesn't charge batteries. Not worth returning.

Note, the ZX3 charges over USB so I'm not dead in the water, but disappointing...

One would expect a battery charger to charge a battery. This one didn't - and I'm returning it. (And yes, I made sure that the electrical socket was live!) The good news is that ordering it caused our formerly-lost Fuji charger to materialize.

This charger will not charge the battery even tho it is listed as a supported battery. The charge and status ligts remain on, I left it charging over night and the next morning the battery was not charged.

Purchased this with my Kodak Playsport. Quite simply, it didn't work...AT ALL. Both the "Ready" light and "Charging" light come on at the same time. The charging light is supposed to turn from red to green when the battery is charged. I took several new, uncharged batteries and put them on the charger. The charging light was green right from the beginning. It added NO charge to any of the batteries. Stay away!

Found this item when searching for a particular battery model. This item came up and appeared to fit a battery commonly used by many manufacturers who use similar numbers in their battery designations. Didn't fit my battery after all. It would cost me most of the refund to send it back so I'm ****!!

It works as a replace battery for my Kodak ZI8 but for just 20-30 minutes, maybe mine is a deffective one?
