I had ordered two of these thinking they were sold each but ended up getting two pairs of filters. The description stated nothing about being sold in pairs. I had to return one pair. Other than that, they seem to be a good filter.

These two filters are an exact replacement for my 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. This was my first time to replace them myself; I'd always had the oil change and lube folks do this. However, those folks are now charging $29.95 for this! So, I was thinking I'd do this myself and save money.
This task was NOT as easy as I anticipated. If you do this, DO NOT remove the far left screw that holds the silencer cover; just loosen it enough so the cover will drop down out of your way. You do need to remove the other two screws which hold this cover (one near the center and one over on the right). I made the mistake of removing all 3 screws! After struggling with that left screw for about 15 minutes to reinstall it, I stopped and went into the house and searched the Internet for help. I found a Chevy truck blog site where someone had written about this "left screw" problem. Reading that blog made me realize I should have educated myself first before I attempted what at first glance appeared to be a simple change-the-cabin-filters-in-my-truck task. Oh well, you live and learn! Incidentally, it took me almost 2 hours just to reinstall that one screw! Hey, the good news is I'll know next time and now you know too!

Purchased the filter kit to replace the existing filters in my Chevy Tahoe. The filter has better filtration media than the stock ones and the baking soda did indeed get rid of the musty smell I normally get after a good rain.
Like previous reviewer stated - there are two filters in this kit and your truck/suv will need both. Amazon's description should clearly state that there are two filters in this package so that you don't end up buying two boxes of filters.

Filter was a perfect fit for my 1999 Silverado. No fuss or muss with the install and will continue to source from Amazon for truck parts. Can't beat the price and availability.

These filters are a great replacment to the stock ones. They fit right in with no problem. I usually change the ones in my truck about every 15,000 miles, and the fresh breeze having the baking soda incorporated into the filter helps keep the air smelling clean. Keep in mind when ordering there are two filters in the box, so you only need to buy one.

I'm glad I read the reviews because I had thought that these were single filters! They come two in a box, and fit and function just as well as any other filter that may cost two or three times more. The only downside is they're made in China.

They were way overdue for replacement but fit exactly right. The packaging and description did not say there were two filters included so I ordered two (and returned the second package). Air flow seems to be greatly improved.

I replaced my original filters with these FRAMs in my 2000 Chevy Silverado. It only took me 11 years to figure out I had them. So, now that I have declared myself as an Auto Incompetent, I can still say it was easy to replace them and the FRAMs fit perfectly.
