1.0 out of 5 stars Wheel of Fortune December 23, 2005
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
John,

I was on the phone for 2 hours yesterday with Amazon's customer service and ToysRus corporate guest services. I explained how I called Pelican's CS and they knew nothing about this product and how the local ToyRus sales people knew nothing about this product. Matter of fact, I just came back from ToysRus and they had no such wheel. The Amazon rep said it was in thier system using the following reference SKN: 371413,Item model number: PL3610 but said something wasn't right because it did not have a tracking number. She took down all the information and passed it onto internal problem solvers. The ToysRus rep took the info and reported it to management at thier coroporate offices in Wayne, New Jersey. Both reps were extremely helpful. As I check my account, instead of item not yet shipped, I get:

We're sorry. We're temporarily unable to display all your orders below. Rest assured, we're working on the problem and expect to resolve it shortly. If you don't see the order you're looking for, please wait a few minutes, then visit this page again.

The good thing is they will not process the charge until the item is shipped.

Whoever's the first to come out with a FFB wheel for the 360 is going to be one wealthy manufacturer.

The search for the wheel goes on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does this product really even exist? December 23, 2005
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I ordered it prior to the December 21st release date, when the website said it would ship and arrive by today (December 23rd).

My order STILL says it will arrive today (or maybe yesterday), but apparently it has not yet been shipped, though it is expected to ship on the 21st or 22nd. (Yes, I know that today is the 23rd).

I called Pelican technical support, seeking technical specifications, and the rep there knew nothing about this product. Admittedly that was prior to the release date.

As far as I can determine, there is no published information on a Pelican Force Feedback wheel for the Xbox 360, and I can find no definitive statement that the Xbox 360 or its games actually support force feedback.

Please, someone, post some facts!
