5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, April 14, 2008
This review is from: The FFH Collection (Audio CD)
We love this entire CD. All songs (except one) are hits I've heard before. The one I had not heard before is also very good. Quite a variety of songs.

I'll admit I enjoy FFH, but I often go a long time without listening to anything they did at all. Still, like with all artists I enjoy, I got their best of. Unlike more artists I enjoy, I found this one a tad disappointing.

Right off the bat, I discovered that there were only ten tracks, and none of them were new. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw a Best Of with no new track. As with most compilations, the CD focuses on the radio hits. Most of my favorite FFH songs were never on the radio.

But what is here is enjoyable. The CD kicks off with the fun "Big Fish." My favorite song they've ever done is included, "I Want to be Like You." "Fly Away" and "Ready to Fly" represent their songs about Heaven.

Their last couple releases haven't been as good as their first few. Obviously, I'm not the only one who feels that way since they get one track each. "Still the Cross" and "Worth it All" are definitely the best of those two releases.

For those wanting the radio hits, this disc will satisfy. I will probably forgo it most of the time in favor of the full releases that have the songs I like better

Good cd. I loved FFH back in the day and am now introducing my 11-yr-old son to the music. CD received promptly in good condition
