I bought these for my new car that I just bought in June. We were going to Cali so I didnt want the seats to get ruined.
These covers, are infact just covers. Very, very thin cloth, not exactly what I thought they were going to be, but what can you expect for $40 Full seat covers.

The only problem I had, was that the back seat cover for the bottom half didn't fit my car.. so it looks a bit weird. I will have to cut it to make it fit.
Not bad if you are looking for a temporary seat cover just to protect your seats, I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on having them for a long time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty nice set, fits well in a Ford Escape, June 18, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I would like to suggest that even if you're put seat covers on before, just peruse the instructions for these first. I am the queen of try it first and if it doesn't work, then read the instructions. In this case, I would have saved myself a lot of time if I figured out that the larger piece for the bench seat goes on the back and not the bottom. The instructions aren't the best, but they give you a good idea of the best way to install these.

I have a 2007 Ford Escape. The bucket seat covers fit exactly perfect. The issues I ran into: getting the cover over the headrest and clipping it under the driver's seat. The headrest is too large for the hole to fit over and I couldn't get the headrest completely off. I had to cut the seat cover about 1" to fit around the headrest. The clips that go on the elastic bands under the seat were easy enough to figure out on the passenger side, but the driver's side has a mechanical seat. There's a ton of wires and grease underneath, plus a huge piece of metal blocking me from being able to really clip them the way I wanted to. They fit snugly enough that I don't think I needed to bother with the clips anyway, but I improvised and fastened as many as I was able to. The bag has a ton of clips in it, I can't imagine anyone using them all.

This set was supposed to come with 4 headrest covers, I only received 3. It didn't matter much anyway, because the Escape has 3 headrests on the back seats and 2 in front. I elected to leave them off the back seats altogether.

The bench seat cover fit perfectly and the clips were necessary to hold it in place. I only ran into an issue with the cross over seat belt that is in the middle of the seat (see the picture I uploaded). I had to put the cover under the seatbelt, so at first it looked as if it wouldn't stay on. I fastened the clips in the back and that seemed to work perfectly, it has a snug fit now.

The instructions state to cut holes for the seat belts, but I chose not to do this. I simply tucked the extra material between the seats. I don't often have passengers in the back, so I wasn't too concerned and it looks fine.

One of the perks that the Escape has is the ability to raise the bottom of the bench seat cushions. This made clipping the covers underneath an absolute breeze. If you have an Escape, look at the front of the cushion. There's a small handle the same color as the seat fabric. Pull up on it and push the cushion forward. It will make your life much easier when trying to put these on, rather than trying to cram your hands in the small spaces.

The flowers have an embroidered look to them and I was pleasantly surprised. I really love the pattern. I also uploaded a close up photo of those.

Overall, for the price I think this is a decent set. The fabric is a bit thin, but I didn't buy these to protect from things like spills or cigarette burns. I simply wanted something that looked cuter than the standard seat fabric which is light in color and kind of ugly!

I gave it 3 stars for the missing headrest, so/so fabric and instructions in bad Engrish :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Love Purple, February 12, 2010
A Kid's Review
This review is from: FH-FB053114 Floral Embroidery Design Car Seat Covers Purple Color
These are easy to work with and the color and design were exactly what I was looking for. The only problem with mine is that I am unable to tuck the top of the backseat in so a little of the seat is not covered.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's good enough, January 6, 2011

I bought these covers for 2007 prius. They fit well (you have to cut some holes for the seatbelt buckles, but that's easy). The quality is alright, good enough, for that price.
So I would recommend this product if you are just looking for something not too expensive to give your car a new look :)

Some of my friends and relatives were skeptical about this purchase; thinking the color was too loud. Once they saw them in the car they changed their minds. Very easy to install, have not had any issues with covers sliding or moving.

3.0 out of 5 stars mixed feelings, but overall, good for the price, May 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I recently bought a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I purchased this item to protect seats from coffee spill because I usually carry around my coffee while commuting. After using it for about a month, I am happy that I bought this and it serves the purpose well. But there are some pain points that you should be aware of.

Overall, I am satisfied with front covers - would give 4 stars, but with back seat covers, two stars or less.

Pros-
I was surprised by quality of fabric. I imagined it to be cheap thin stretchy fabric, but it's not. I think it's thick enough to withstand the usual small coffee spills here and there.
My car's original interior is light gray, but surprisingly, this black set works very well. I was afraid that pink flowers would make the cover look cheap, but they are made of soft faux suede material and looks good. When I just put it on, it was a bit wrinkly, fresh out of package. I was a little disappointed initially but after a day it looked fine. I love how it fits for the front seats. I wish I can say the same for the back seats though...

Cons-
Oh boy, putting them on was such a pain! There are long elastic loops attached at the hem of the covers, and s-shape hooks are in the package. These are to make the cover fit tight and not move. The instruction says, put the cover on, grab the end of one elastic loop and connect it to the opposite side loop with the s-hook underneath a seat. Simple enough to say that! but it's nearly impossible to stick your arm underneath the front seat and grab the elastic and pull it to the other side of the seat. Some of the elastics are also sewn in the places where seat buckle or seat controls are. so you have to get really creative when it comes to make the fit tight. If you have power seat controls, you may have more wires running underneath so be careful while securing elastics.
There were many moments I got so frustrated that I wanted to return this product.

It gets worse with the backseat. Even before buying it, I planned to use only the bottom cover for the backseat since I have the folding armrest in the middle of the backseat. The instruction picture shows to pull the backseat bottom off from the car, put the cover on, hook up the elastics, and put the seat back. Well, I have a sedan, and there's no way to get the bottom off unless I rip it apart from the car. This cover might work fine for SUV or minivan where seats come off. I ended up finding small grooves underneath where fabric and plastics meet, tugging the cover hem into the groove as much as I could. so backseat doesn't look neat as the front ones.

Soooo, I'd definitely recommend if you need seat covers esp. for SUV and minivan. Otherwise, be aware that it's not easy to assemble them.

My daughter was very pleased with these seat covers. Though a little difficult to put on, the end result was what she had hoped for. I would definitely recommend these seat covers.
