120gb external usb back-up drive- Freecom,

I bought this product to back-up my thinkpad laptop which I can usually wipe clean through my incompetence about once every 18 months. It works...straight out of its box.The instructions were simple and clear, but basically the laptop and Freecom just started talking to each other when the syncro button was pressed!The only niggle is that it is noisy when the cooling fan starts up, but that is nothing when I now know I cant lose all my work completed over the last three years, all my music and all my digital photos.I will take it with me when I travel for busines as it will be light enough to pack with the laptop and other equipment. I think it was worth the money for such a masssive storage capacity and its response time seems to live up to the claimed rates shown in the sales material
