This review is from: FIFA 08 (Video Game)
While I was waiting for FIFA 08 to arrive at my house I was remembering all the good and bad times I had with FIFA 07. The good was the awe-inspiring licensing feat, and the realism of stadium crowds. The bad was the abismal graphics and gameplay. When FIFA 08 finally arrived I was ecstatic to see all the proper transferences were made and that the graphics had been improved on. I was wary of the gameplay though but that first match changed my perspective. The gamplay was tight the AI was able. All in all a very good game.

The best fifa yet,
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: FIFA 08 (Video Game)
This is probably the best fifa yet, however if you play the next gen versions (ps3, xbox360) you will be disappointed in the graphics. With that said, the gameplay is very good, and the new be be a pro mode is a remarkable innovation in football sim. The new manual cross and manual true pass makes the gameplay a bit more difficult than previous versions, but its a lot more realistic and hence a lot more fun to play. I would recommend this game to any soccer gamer.

FIFA '08 Improves Upon The Previous Year's Version,

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: FIFA 08 (Video Game)
This is a thoroughly enjoyable video game, and the Manager's Mode, which I'll be reviewing, is even more addictive (and time-consuming, but in a good way). This game features more than 15,000 players in 30 officially licensed leagues around the world. The manager mode allows the player to take over a club and guide its fortunes on and off the pitch to almost the tiniest details. You have to worry about training your players, keeping them fit, and ensuring that you have sufficient success to meet the board's expectations or else you'll get the boot. The best thing I like about this particular game mode is the ability to scout for new young talent or develop it in your own youth academy and then put them on the pitch to see if they can play with the big boys. I highly recommend this game to anyone who really enjoys soccer as it'll provide hours and hours of entertaining fun.
