A great series, FM 09 is back for another year. This time around there are lots of improvements because the game is running on a brand new engine, but there are also a couple of bugs.
But with Update 1 most of the bugs are now gone, so when you get the game, patch it! Don't believe the rumors about the sacking bug, only the illegal copies get it (not activated with EA.com). Its a very fun game, and it's very addicting!

Virtual game views are good, but this game has not really been improved over the last the 5 years, in fact some areas have gotten worse.
During a game, some of the player moves are plain ridiculous ( a thru ball to a forward who will run backwards 20yards and give the ball back to the opposition!). NO in game shouts from manager to "put it out' or "waste time" or "full attack" Game will invariably crash if a player is red carded. Irritating things like being asked to give a player a shirt number - but there is NO WAY to do this! Different menus are not as easy to navigate as in previous games. Training schedules and groups are fiddly. Management possibilities are limited - some new scenarios need to be introduced. With a bit of thhought this could be a so much better game!

Great game, great design and the only management game with a good game engine this is a must buy for football fans!
